Vatican II issued its Constitution on Divine Revelation on 18th November 1965. Entitled Dei Verbum it formulated new insights on the Bible and encouraged knowledge and love of the Word of God.

St Elizabeth was daughter of the king of Hungary. She founded a Franciscan monastery in Thuringia and lived the Franciscan life, founding a hospital at Marburg in 1227. She died at the age of 24.
