So... the "unlimited" data plan ran out of data. I'm now kneecapped at 5/5 MBit for the remainder of the month. Stream will be quite compromised, but I'll do my best :)

In Sweden we don’t call it ”daylight savings time” but ”Summer Time” and ””Winter Time” and I think that makes more den than daylight savings….. *until* you realize that that means the Winter Time must be daylight wasting time and then it all adds up.

For some reason when you get a long cable specifically for a use, it’s usually just too short and if you’re getting a short one, it ends up way too long.
I guess this is why we measure stuff in advance ;) But it was just some USB cables this time, and fortunately I got an even longer one as well.

I’ve had some nightmare diabetes days the past days. It started by one pump going into a vein, greatly increasing the speed and effect of all insulin, giving me a 12 hour hypo through the night. Then I think the next one did the the opposite, building up a depot of insulin, and releasing it slowly.

Interesting stream today. First Drizzt threw up during the startup (he’s fine btw), then at the 1 hour brb something crashed so hard my computer had restarted when I came back, and I’m still a bit paranoid as what happened. The rest of the stream was great though :)

Since my diabetes is so sensitive, I do not adhere to daylight savings. This means that when you change your clock, my stream will still start around 09:30 UTC, it just happens to be 10.30 CET after Sunday. I hope this does not cause too much inconvenience and that I’ll see you again on Monday.

Since my diabetes is so sensitive, I do not adhere to daylight savings. This means that when you change your clock, my stream will still start around 09:30 UTC, it just happens to be 10.30 CET after Sunday. I hope this does not cause too much inconvenience and that I’ll see you again on Monday.
Today, after about 10 months of streaming on Twitch, I realized why my camera always have looked worse in OBS than any other app. It captured it at 640x480 by default and upscaled it. Here I thought it was grainy because of my low light. Ooops.

This week, Zar has been away on a conference. I had hoped to be able to squeeze in an evening stream to fight the solitude, but between extra house responsibilities (mostly dog related) and a horrible week for sleep diabetes wise, that never happened. Will likely be a sleepy stream tomorrow. 0930UTC

RE modern game design. Too many games today rely on empty filler quests to prolong an otherwise great gaming experience. Imagine how obvious this can be if you can only play an hour (or in a game with good flow) at the time due to ME. I spend months beating a game where weeks can go without story.

Having computer issues and be annoying. Having computer issues when your small remnants of a life resolves around it and any troubleshooting leaves to pain and cognitive shutdown is absolutely devastating. Especially when the computer is one of my biggest creative and financial exertion in years.

Doing the same thing over and over expecting a new result can either be a sign of insanity or you’re just trying to get Windows to play nicely with HDR. After reinstalling GPU drivers my HDR colors were completely scuffed…. Until they weren’t any more. SDR worked fine the whole time.

This is Drizzt. He’s a 3 year old White Swiss Shepherd and he’s my main company when my wife is at work. Unfortunately my ME prevents me to train him to become a certified assistance/ medical alert dog like Plankton was before I got ME, but he can still alert me when I have low bloodsugar.
