We have a new resident Tawny Frogmouth! We've seen it a number of times now, and it was on the fence opposite our house when I took my walk after work last night.

I got the big lens and tripod out and got some photos. Fortunately they stay still, so this 7.5s exposure at night worked ok.

I built a tiny CDN for my website to reduce the latency for visitors in different parts of the world.

linkedlist.org is now hosted on #ChimeraLinux using a mini-CDN/Edge network I built. I have a servers in Australia, France, and USA with GeoDNS selecting between them.

Is this needlessly complicated for such a low-traffic website? Yes, but I wanted to try to make it faster for more people.
