a sci-fi weight gain sequence part 1
comic imitating a retro style digital presentation. The first slide reads summary: expedition team hashtag zero three six five zero returned from its scouting of moon dash seven zero nine's cavern system. they returned with an unknown liquid sample. after lab analysis, it was discovered it may hold medicinal properties for human class lifeforms. this project seeks to determine the full effects of the substance, labelled sample e forty seven. The second slide is titled stage zero unaffected. A person's name has been blacked out. She has volunteered as subject in this project. As of outset, she is fit, healthy, and in good spirits. Subject has been made aware of physical risks. A photo of the woman is displayed and captioned as volunteer, but her name has been redacted again. the third slide is titled stage one. after sample e forty seven is injected, subject's body immediately begins swelling; however, not with liquid, but rapidly-growing adipose tissue. subject reports discomfort, but no adverse effects. the same woman is shown again, now slightly heavier. the fourth slide is titled stage two. swelling has continued hours after dosing. subject reports no other effects. the picture shows that the woman has become chubby. the fifth slide is titled stage three. day two of continuous growth. unclear when it will slow down or end. The woman in the photo is visibly fat now. the sixth slide is titled stage four. expansion rate seems to be accelerating. subject is visibly concerned. the woman's photo shows she is very fat now. the seventh slide is titled stage five. subject's growth has visibly hindered her mobility. we do not know how to slow or stop it. the woman has become big enough that part of her body is now out of frame. the eighth slide is titled stage 6. subject can no longer move independently. breathing is steady but laborious. subject has stopped answering well-being surveys. the woman is even fatter.
