Issue at hand: I have a spec evo project that revolves around single eyestalk creatures.
Problem: an upright fleshy appendage with a flared tip is literally a dick. If I want to explore this project I will have to surrender to the fact that it’s basically drawing a bunch of dicks with legs.

My main gripe with the movie version was the chameleon head, so I got rid of that, but lizarded it up in other ways to compensate.

This wasn’t really a ‘genuine’ redesign, in the sense that this is seriously a form of toothless I’d like to see, and more me getting mad at the live action for replacing dragon heads with those of normal animals.
Ergo, salamander head.
