Actual homestead update: We're 99% finished with our mobile chicken coop! The one scrapboard on the back needs to be sanded down and maybe painted if we have any more paint left.

Finally feeling able to shed off more of my Baptist upbringing. I still feel like Jesus/the good qualities of "Christianity" (charity, kindness, aid freely given, etc) is important, but I'm feeling like ((Cont'd in comments >>> ))

I'm so proud of Green Party Mayor Emmanuel Estrada, of Baldwin Park, Los Angeles, CA. He was just appointed as a member of the LA County Commission on Local Govermental Services for an indefinite term of office! Here's an old video from 2022 on a few of his past accomplishments.

My first pancakes (sourdough starter discard) and my first sourdough loaf! It tastes good, but didn't get completely up to temp, so it is a tiny bit doughy still, but not bad. I'm just glad I didn't burn it! 😅 It also needs a softer crust so I don't break teeth, lol
