Actual homestead update: We're 99% finished with our mobile chicken coop! The one scrapboard on the back needs to be sanded down and maybe painted if we have any more paint left.

Irrigation system installed for 3 of the 5 rows, and potatoes have been planted. Motion-activated decoy owl finally on duty after over a year of sitting around in our house. 🤣 (Got him for my birthday or Christmas in 2023. Heck, maybe even 2022. 😂

Up next is maybe a trellis on the back row?

My first pancakes (sourdough starter discard) and my first sourdough loaf! It tastes good, but didn't get completely up to temp, so it is a tiny bit doughy still, but not bad. I'm just glad I didn't burn it! 😅 It also needs a softer crust so I don't break teeth, lol

W00t, my first sourdough starter! This was started with our well-water from several days before January 19th. Picking a name is difficult! Maybe either THE bREaD ARMY (since the Red Army defeated the Nazis) or KropBLOBtkin (after Kropotkin).

Now mixing some for my first loaf. :3

So happy that Rand McNally's Mapquest hasn't given in to the ridiculousness.
