How hard do you think mass collaboration really is? Without gatekeeping and sabotage probably not hard at all.
AI Petition draft.

Radical: Relating to or advocating fundamental or revolutionary changes in current practices, conditions, or institutions. Many people may assume they hold few radical beliefs.

If you examine an activist's content thoroughly & nothing challenges your worldview, then at best they're a half-baked activist limiting themselves for one reason or another.

Current efforts in combatting AI exploitation are well known to be largely ineffective, but I find this motivating. "The Take it Down Act" in the U.S. is thought to be somewhat positive for taking down non-consensual content, but Public Citizen states it leaves, "enforcement to the FTC."

To me, critiquing people is a sign you believe in them. Especially with antifascist activism, I think we would benefit if openly critiquing became so common even people who shy away from critiquing became used to giving constructive feedback.

The rise of synthetic online accounts capable of posing as real people & the sheer amount of resources people can use to manipulate discourse inevitably creates situations where people who care too much about matching the "popular stance," find themselves echoing artificially driven propaganda.

12 days later, 2 U.S. national security officials told a journalist, "There are more than a dozen secret and obscure watchlists that homeland security & the FBI are using to track protesters (both anti-ICE & pro-palestinian), "antifa," & others who are promiscuously labeled "domestic terrorists."

The main reason I made this is to show what I can do, so I can better reach out for collaborations. Despite varying resolution of footage this is a powerful video, although I consider this a rough draft. Imagine this but animated art style. 🪄 #ice #protest #grunge www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLL9...

When I see reasonable suggestions to change corrupt systems there's usually people who say change isn't realistic. An ironic & easy way to counter defeatism in the moment is to explain corrupt realities & ask if they sound realistic. Most often, proposed changes sound more realistic comparatively.

When I had a boss who repeatedly pressured me, I initiated interactions where I convinced customers to sign up for programs at a much higher rate than my peers. With activism, I think collaboration is similarly more likely the more you reach out & the more confident you are when you do.

Sometimes I feel like people use generative AI technology & generative artwork because doing so is easier than reaching out to an artist. An example where popularizing drawings, paintings, or animations might be necessary or save lives, is in protest media.
As fascism & surveillance continue to grow hand in hand, we benefit from rethinking how we protest. 1) From 2012, popular protest resource witness brought up the advances in nefarious surveillance. They mentioned how blurring technologies & changes in photojournalism would possibly save lives.

Impactful rights activists being targeted with harassment is an inescapable trend in the current climate & has been for some time. A reason I mention this on socials is because I know this will effect me & will happen if I’m as impactful as I know I can be.

My parents were regularly incompetent, highly apathetic, & envious. When I overheard my grandma say my baby sister was abused I stopped ignoring the abuse at age 16. Repeatedly standing up for her negatively affected my life far more than anything else because of how people did & didn't respond.
