ICE has billions upon billions to spend. They will build their fucking concentration camps somewhere unless Congress finds the gonads to rescind that money.

Only rescission will stop ICE. The Big Billionaires Bill funded the agency for the duration of Trump’s second term. That was no accident.

Now, it’s businesses’ turn to leave Amazon. Enshittification is a trap for both consumers and businesses. Free yourself and free us all.

Really good reporting from @nwprogressive.org. Another great local news source for #Seattle.

Nobody whose rights are infringed these days should let the violators get away with it. #FightBack

Friends in #Seattle should see it while you can. It’s made for the silver screen, not the flat screen.

A friendly editorial suggestion to @npr.org from a supporter: Regardless of what the top story is, maybe starting NPR News Now with the two words, “President Trump,” seemingly EVERY HOUR isn’t a great experience for listeners.

When I hear, “Live from NPR…” I think, “Oh God. What now??”

Others have said this, but how shameful is it that RFK Jr. works for this administration that is laying waste to his family’s monument?

Then again, how shameful is the damage he is doing to his family legacy all on his own?

THIS ARTICLE from the estimable David Glenn Cox is a must-read.

And he's absolutely right: Trump has never NOT been a racist, and his escalator speech 10 years ago made that plain.

The question isn't his racism, it's our complacency in the face of it.

I could have written this myself. The magnitude of car culture’s impact on this country and the world is devastating. Humanity went down the wrong road with the US leading the way.

For all our big brains, Sapiens is the stupidest ape in too many ways.
I don't post enough about the other central pillar of my politics, aside from anti fascism: being anti car

cars are bad in almost every way, especially in cities

if you go to even large, bustling cities that are actually dense, they are quieter than US cities because you can get away from cars
