I had an idea for a mini comic for Nee Years, and I got 2 pages inked last night and the 3rd page is partially inked. I have to work New Years Eve so I’m hoping to get it colored pages out this week. These pages were an experiment to push myself to make better comics for 2026.

Its frustrating that LGBTQA subreddit likes to complains about lack of representation/ misrepresentation in comics and when I say there’s a lot of great queer indie comics they either demand I give them links or downvote when I give them links!! Are we supporting each other or not????

All I’m getting for christmas is a nervous breakdown. I had to get a ride to work and I’m waiting 25 minutes bounced 5 times and I’m stuck in the rain standing and waiting on a swollen knee and it’s just one more thing I can’t take anymore.

I just have to finish lettering the holiday special I wanted to launch it days ago but I’ve been dealing with stress and some high pain days getting in the way. I will have a bonus page for the 26th I’ll post on social media that wraps up Christmas for the Thorsby-Matson family.

The pet insutance we use screwed us over I’m owed hundreds in claims so they closed my claims because they couldn’t open a damn attachment from the vet! Instead of fixing they problem they use it as an excuse. Stingy and underhanded.

I discovered 1 panel that needs colored then I can letter the Christmas comic. I sadly came down with a migraine though so I’m putting myself to bed. I work tonight, and have shifts up to Wednesday. I hope I don’t get sick for Christmas!

My coworkers got me a little christmas gift this year knowing we weren’t able to anything. It was very sweet! It doesn’t take much to make me happy, older I get less is more, I just like little things.

I see this a lot on Reddit, some just do it to get Artists upset and just stirring up controversy in comic spaces, others think it’s a form of extortion ‘ Draw my stuff for free or else!’ Meanwhile the comics they do produce that are slop are flawed and lack basic storytelling skills.
Every writer who generates a slop image for their work is a class traitor.

So your solution is stabbing artists in the back? Stealing from them?
Furthermore, slop-generated imagery suggests slop-generated writing. That's how you're presenting yourself.

Did a quick retro Batman sketch using the Kraftone brushes from @truegrittexture.bsky.social. I love their brush sets for Clip Studio (they also do brushes for other art apps.) Trying to get myself into a good rhythm of sketching every day aside form my regular work, so here's a first go.
