End climate chaos & pollution.

The Trump administration’s Environmental Protection Agency is gutting limits on climate and transportation pollution — putting frontline communities at risk.

We demand accountability and defend clean air.

Clean air is a right. EPA, do your job.

@governor.ny.gov Budget proposal omits the $1B Sustainable Future Program.

This withdraws support for energy affordability and green jobs in communities of color and low income.

We’re calling on the Legislature to restore this $1B investment and uphold EJ.

WeACT was and is an environmental justice leader, and it has played a major role in transforming West Harlem. Civil disobedience, hard work, and community connections get the goods. People like Dr. King and Peggy Shepard teach us that transformation must never sleep.
“The time is always right to do the right thing.” – Dr. King

37 years ago, Peggy Shepard and the “Sewage Seven” stopped the North River Sewage Treatment Plant in Harlem.

Today, WE ACT is still fighting pollution and defending environmental justice.
