It is profoundly sad that a white man's concealed carry guns rights is what is getting certain people to finally understand that the US government does not give a shit about laws or rights or lives. This is not a criticism of the victim. This is a criticism of the US's sympathies & priorities.

There's been a lot of discussion about the echoes of the civil rights movement in the protests today, with people obviously drawing comparisons between the strategies, tactics and coalitions that were vital then and are still vital now.

ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives.
