The House's rejection of continuing ACA subsidies as a CR amendment showed the 7 Democratic Senators' "deal" for what it is: capitulation.

My apartment complex has offered shutdown affected Feds the ability to pay their rent in two installments during the month.

I'm trying to figure out how to divide $0 in two.

Looks like these shenanigans might be over today.

Senate Dems, do not cave. Ensuring healthcare premiums don’t surge is an 80-20 issue. They want to gut the ACA because their disdain for Obama far outweighs their concern for anyone’s health.

His "concept" of a Healthcare Plan is finally revealed. It involves eliminating the Insurance Industry & people purchasing their OWN, MUCH BETTER, HEALTHCARE. Unrelated, note his obsessive envy of Obama, historically rated 1 of our finest presidents, who he still believes was born in Kenya.

Senate Democrats have a common-sense compromise: Let’s extend the ACA enhanced tax credits at the current levels for a year, and start a bipartisan working group to find real, long-term solutions to our country’s health care crisis.

I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.

Georgia’s ruling party smeared former USAID local staff as “revolutionaries” to score political points. U.S. senators just called them out. If America won’t defend the people who risked their lives to work with us abroad, who will stand with us next time? Hold State to its word.
