Alessandra is doggedly loyal once you gain her trust. She can also be pretty intense, but she will take care of those closest to her. She's much more relaxed and open around her friends compared to acquaintances or complete strangers

Leliana began a slow roll with both hands, watching the woman beneath her quickly lose herself. With her eyes now closed, she wouldn’t see Leliana gazing down at her so adoringly; she didn't have to see her to know just by picturing it. Alessandra allowed herself to simply feel those hands on her, tiny little cries escaping her mouth, her lack of vision serving to further enhance the pleasure Leliana was giving her. “How does that feel?” “A-amazing,” she answered, failing to bite back a moan. “Don’t stop. Please.” Alessandra heard Leliana let out an audible breath and she briefly thought of opening her eyes to catch whatever look she was giving her, except those hands were so much that it made it difficult to focus on anything else. “It feels so good.” The way she pressed her fingers into soft flesh, squeezing so tenderly, coaxed newer sounds out of Alessandra. Her positive verbal responses must have had an effect on Leliana, encouraging her to try other methods. When lips trailed kisses along her neck, Alessandra instinctively tilted her head back, granting Leliana better access. She kissed along her pulse, going lower, down to her collar bones, then lower still. Alessandra’s breath hitched as Leliana kissed the top of one breast, then the other. Leliana did not stop there, heat blooming beneath each inch of skin her mouth covered. And still she did not stop, not even after her back arched and her breaths became heavy beneath all these new sensations. Alessandra wanted more. She needed more.

So I've been brainstorming and working on a rough draft of the first time Alessandra is sexually intimate with Leliana and I wanted to share this part I wrote back in Dec. I adore how this turned out; it shows just how powerfully Alessandra loves sometimes. Leliana loves her all the more for it
Fingers brushed strands of hair out of her face, quickly followed by a soft press of lips to her forehead. The contact made her feel warm inside. An elated sensation that threatened to spill down her cheeks. “Are you alright, mon cœur?” Her inquiry was out of concern, thumbs brushing over cheeks not yet damp. Her heart, and what a powerful and intimate way to address her. “I am,” Alessandra affirmed. “Just overwhelmed. All this intimacy is getting to me.” She sniffled, watching as Leliana settled down next to her. “I’ve never felt my heart so full.” “It is the lightest I have felt in many years,” her partner agreed. “You make me so happy, Ashi. My Lionheart.” You make me so happy. It was all she ever wanted to hear. For someone to look her way, to lean on her, be someone to turn to and show their deepest, truest self. All she needed was someone open-minded, with a willingness to show her efforts were not unwelcome. Someone who wanted to meet her halfway; she did not need to chase endlessly. A heart was not tireless, and could not take such reckless pursuits that bore no fruit. She made Leliana happy. Alessandra could live on those five words, forever. “I love you.” A soft, whispered proclamation, with the full weight of her emotions spilling over at last. “I love you so much.” “Oh, darling. You and your beautiful heart. There are no words with which to convey the depth of my love, only that I feel it embody my entire being. My very soul.”

Fun fact about Alessandra: her Beserker rages give her a purple aura that changes color based on her mental state. At her worst, when she isn't in control, it's a dark violet color. When she's finally at peace, the aura takes on a brilliant lavender color with gold flecks

I've made Alessandra in at least two other games. She's a Sylvari in Guild Wars 2 and a Wood Elf barbarian in BG3. I'm not sure if I'll keep barbarian as her base class or change it to fighter; it's undecided. I just wanted access to berserker rages

Alessandra is a romantic sap at heart. My soft little warrior who waxes poetic and isn't even trying to. Leliana brings that side out of her. She thinks herself cheesy when she does this but Leliana finds it quite endearing

Is it cringe? Maybe. Who can really say?

Alessandra suffers from PTSD due in part to her mother's death and nearly dying herself getting revenge. She also really struggles with adhd; her impulses have gotten her into a lot of trouble throughout her life, not to mention the emotional dysregulation that often manifests as anger
