Brilliant piece by @birmo.bsky.social on corporations not paying tax and how the people in charge want you to blame baristas, foreigners and single mums for the fact your hospitals are busted.

He's talking about Australia, but it's true for everyone, everywhere.

Very sad news. Keeping Up Appearances was an old-fashioned British sitcom about manners, class and eccentricity.

HBD to Tom Wills (1835) - a great cricketer who took an indigineous team to the UK in the 1860's. He was one of Australia's first sporting heroes and a founder of AFL. A true character.

Here's Mick Thomas and Wally singing a tribute to his life.

At the airport I’m on a shuttle bus Guy is cramming us on, it’s no worse than your typical northern line peak hour tube. Entitled boomers proclaiming it’s not safe. Guy totally not interested in complaints. Rams more people on. Modern travel, what did you fuckin expect?

Just got pulled aside by Security at Edinburgh airport. Guy leans in real close. Excuse me sir.

I think, oh what now.

First night on hospital radio last night. It's fun to be back in community radio, but really special to do it in a hospital, helping out people who are, frankly, generally not having a nice time.

Revolut Story - I picked up my phone and I had about 12 transactions in 10 minutes from Revolut. I'm in the office working - this is weird. Each transaction is about 4 kr (£2.04) and they all go, via Google, to an Aleksei Vo.

I have blocked seller, cancelled card - what the hell is going on here?

Sad news. Wonder World was great for kids, it educated and entertained in equal doses, and Simon always treated the audience without condescension. He’s also much respected for his courage as a Vietnam War conscientious objector, which saw him imprisoned. A good man. RIP Simon.
