one of the more bizarre things in hindsight is the fact people used to literally get bullied for playing video games. not even the runescape nerds who deserved it, EVERYTHING was off limits for a while where i lived.

While I agree with the sentiment, I would not use the term "group think." Undermines your point a bit.
I’ve seen articles written about how Bluesky is becoming a “bubble for the left” in a negative light. No, Bluesky is a place for thinking people to group think, share, fight for democracy and make each other more knowledgeable on things like facts and reality. But please proceed with your clickbait

I agree with much of this thread. The first episode of Skeleton Crew being set in "Star Wars Suburbia" just felt so uninspired to me. A vast galaxy filled with possibility, and this is the best framing device we can come up with?

One random thing I like about Bluesky is I haven't seen a single person misuse the phrase "ontologically evil"
