My sister allowed me to show her the wonders of bike-share and e-bikes for the first time in neighboring Greenville!

We biked around the city and trail system for about 14 miles and she said we definitely need to do this again.

A lot of southeastern US cities are creating some pretty impressive bike infrastructure that is being slept on

Sister and I are going to check out Greenville, SC on either Monday or Tuesday and she wants to try out BCycle (their electric bike-shake)

this post has entered my top five most read posts of the year.... I will definitely make note of this and use more popular culture as a frame of reference for urbanism in the future.

Had these postcards made. My hope is to send them to elected officials and other decision makers as I advocate for more active transportation projects here in SC and in the US.

YouTube gives me almost exclusively car commercials. I do not even have a driver’s license.

I always learn a lot from the City of Spartanburg's podcast! Jes and Christopher, the hosts, are friends of mine and do great work making civic government accessible and legible for folks.

Super excited for tonight and quite grateful for the Beerded Cork, a new brewery on Spartanburg's eastside, for having us on a night they are usually closed!

My sister got in a car crash while I was in the passenger seat a few weeks ago. She told me yesterday that she now has started to see driving and the dangers associated completely different, as this was her first crash.

Now time to convert her to urbanism.

I am kind of itching to attend an urbanism/walkability conference... I am gonna be keeping an eye on CNU and Strong Towns 👀

I was a little skeptical about the weight of this but year the bicycle is a miraculous machine. I really can do whatever I want with a rear rack and some good bungie cords.
