BREAKING: The Senate has just voted to confirm Pete Hegseth, a drunken, out-of-control abuser, as the weakest Secretary of Defense in history.

This was the closest vote for SecDef, needing the weird couch guy to break the tie.

It's a sad day for America.
Hegseth is a DUI hire.

Anthony Cumia thought he would retweet me on Twitter. Cumia gave Gavin McInnes his own show on his media platform. McInnes founded the Proud Boys during that time. I have all 407 episodes of his show on a hard drive and helped destroy what was left of his career.

This is a key constituent of fascism & the very essence of ‘Muskism’: promoting bullshit, silencing truth-tellers & calling the whole grift ‘free speech’. Twitter as a rehearsal for the USA.
Trump has vowed to crack down on universities involved in misinformation research, or what he dubs the "censorship cartel" - e.g. by curbing funds to those that have "flagged content for removal”, or legal threats

“I'm pretty fucking scared," one professor tells me.

this isn't surprising. i'm pretty sure everyone knows they do this. and it's not unique to X / Twitter either.

social media platforms want to keep you on their website so they can increase their metrics for ad revenue

they don't care about you "reading the news"
