When I moved to Ithaca from Hawai'i, I wasn't expecting volcanic eruptions to follow me but it seems one has. Maybe it will fill Cayuga Lake the way the 2018 Puna one filled Green Lake on the Big Island. We're safe up here, though.

It's not surprising that the wreckers and deniers are now after the Mauna Loa Observatory, the source for the historical record of CO2. A form of killing the messenger, I suppose. I was at the site when it was officially opened in 1955.
