My friend Mary Newell DePalma and I wrote this book which was published in 2022 for the 5th anniversary of the Women's March. You can find it in the history section of bookstores, but, alas, it again speaks to our current moment. #womensmarch #kidlit bookshop.org/p/books/pink...
It's International Women's Day. I wrote this book about the 2017 Women's March. It came out in 2022 for the 5 year anniversary. It remains urgently important, even more so now. #womensmarch #democracy

We haven't even gotten to the Mordor portion of this journey, my friends. Hell, we haven't even made it to the Prancing Pony yet. The next four years are going to get grim. Find your people, assemble your supplies, and make sure that one of your close-knit group of companions is friggin Sam Gamgee.
Whenever you think “Trump can’t do that” just remember that the Supreme Court said he literally can.

I've been here for awhile, but I'm excited to introduce myself to all the new folks. I mostly write fiction for young people, and I also teach children's literature and 19th century British lit at Bucknell University. I'm grateful that I get to hang out with books all day long!

It's always a joy to write at the Highlights Foundation. I spent a couple hours revising in this red rocker by the creek. #amrevising #kidlit
