Yutoku Inari Shrine in Kashima (northern Kyushu) is one of my favourite shrines I've been to in Japan. For one of the three most famous Inari shrines, it was incredibly quiet.

Fukuoka malls are wild. This one closes at 8:30! This one mostly closes at 8 but some floors close at 9! This one is entirely underground connecting four other malls! Also we turned off some of the elevators but won't tell you that

has anyone in the federal government said what the plan to give 33,000 temporary workers permanent residency mentioned in the budget actually is? This is the one (possibly) good thing for migrants in the budget and there are just no details on it whatsoever, which is pretty par for the course.
