For example, in my writing I will NEVER use the word "just" because it is a weak permission seeking word.

This is a good pragmatic approach IMHO. Personally, I NEVER allow browser notifications because my focus & attention is sacred.
I will visit your website when I want and I close browser tabs regularly.
For people whose tabs are out of control because their SYSTEMS are out of control, this is great
