Obviously they took the opportunity to lay on as many cinematic indulgences as they could and by the end it had become Apocalypse Now,Apocalypto and Quest for Fire.

Lord of the Files BBC1 remake.
OK I suppose but not as good as the original.

Can't decide whether it would have been based in New York in the 40s or Paris in the 40s.
There would definitely have been jazz,whiskey,red wine,cigars and broads involved.
