I was born and then things went downhill from there.

I talk about different things to avoid becoming boring.

I'm an old guy who loves new stuff. Science & technology intrigue me. I enjoy strategy games and it shapes how I view problems.
Here's the thing, Fox...

Ten years ago, if you wanted to have a serious discussion about the difference between pedo vs jailbait, and you brought out Dr.Ruth and her team of experts, fine. We could have had that debate in an intelligent manner.

But right now? Nope. You're just covering shit up.

As a former KM, I attest that I'd rather take in an 18 year old nitwit who can't tell a spatula from a turner and train them myself than deal with a 5 star Michelin chef who doesn't follow orders or instructions because of their ego.

It doesn't matter what is in the files. The FBI won't investigate, the DOJ won't prosecute and the SCOTUS won't convict. The US doesn't have corruption, it has terminal cancer. May as well have placed your faith in magic crystals for all the difference it made.

The more that I interact with the American white suburban middle class, the more OK that I become with the knowledge that they are going extinct.

Statistically speaking, the more time you spend sleeping peacefully in bed, the better your chances of dying peacefully in bed.

People still treat generational wealth as a goal, despite history proving time & again that generational wealth only produces children who are both morally and intellectually bankrupt.

Funny. Trump says we need more genius visas because America doesn't have enough home grown smart people to do science stuff.

Remind me again which party has spent the last fifty years slashing education budgets and encouraging science denial at every opportunity?

A paradox of U-boat warfare was that tankers were very easy to destroy but incredibly difficult to sink.

Because they were full of oil, they caught on fire easily. However, oil floats, which meant the ship wouldn't sink until all that oil burned away.

#AI

Reiteration: The US model of AI as business is based on:

1) Nvidia cards are $3k+

2) Therefore cheaper to just subscribe to online AI service.

When (not if, WHEN) China floods the market with $300 knockoff cards, every PC user will be able to do AI stuff at home.

That's the bubble collapse.

If the Epstein Files actually get released, that can only mean one thing: Kash Patel finally figured out how to use Photoshop.

Every day, somewhere in the world, a guy who owns a personal boat is telling an employee who can barely afford food that the company can't afford something trivial.

Eight Democratic congress folk are now in the last term of the last jobs they'll ever hold anywhere, though they don't know it yet.

Wow I'm up to 200 bots following me. Even a couple of actual humans in there, too.

It's funny how so many "small, independent local businesses" are just dropshippers for big box marts.

I'd like to say that Chuck Schumer sold out the American people yet again, but selling out implies getting something in return. He never does and yet somehow continues to always be surprised by that. At least Clarence Thomas has the sense to demand *some* kind of bribe when fucking over the country.

Smart: "That's incredible! I should fact check this!"

The best part about owning stocks is getting to vote on company policies.

Since the government just does whatever corporations tell them to, I call this "skipping the middle-men."

Funny trivia about "The Beastmaster" - If you pay attention to the backstory, you'll realize that the girl that the hero hooks up with at the end is his cousin.

Bonus: He knows it, too.

The ACA was originally called Romneycare, after the Republican who came up with the idea of forcing citizens to purchase insurance from privately owned HMOs.

Obama changed one line (the pre-existing condition clause) and got it passed.

Today Republicans want it trashed because... why, exactly?
