I'm a cinematic artist, music composer and sound designer. Making animated shorts using Source Filmmaker (Source 2 nowadays) and scoring them since 2012.
If you're a professional in a certain field and you've had your breakthrough, don't laugh at your peers who weren't as lucky as you when they share some dogshit gig they're forced to do. No need. Laugh at the gig itself and the state of things, but not the desperation.

I'm (very, very slowly) making a standalone game that relies quite strongly on ZScript, and I can confirm that so far it works flawlessly with UZDoom, from launch to intro to gameplay. So yeah, might as well just migrate the entire project.
(Pre-alpha, everything is subject to change etc. etc.)
