I was inspired by __lu.e3 to draw something way more fluid and intuitive. I've mostly treated drawing like deconstructing industrial art process. so this was very different.

...I mean, I'M not happy with it, but the point was to let go, so, you know, mission accomplished.

I tried painting the lights-to-shadows turning the other way on the color wheel. Mostly failed.

But the warm/cool range shifted from orange-blue to yellow-indigo. idk how to make sense of that

I've been learning how to construct heads all year. I still don't feel like I have fluid expression with emotions.

I learned aseprite interpolates big brushes unevenly when snapping to grid.

Built out a sketch that matches intended motion, silhouette, harmonic balance, framing, etc

'diagnose what's wrong with me'
And people answer the prompt.

I'm spending too much time constructing anatomy, prob because it's what I'm familiar with.

Even with this, I like the pose a lot, but it feels like I'll make the gestures unreadable adapting this to a character...

I feel like I'm losing it. I was trying super hard to study anime style so I could draw beautifully detailed characters. I really love that style, but it takes so freaking long to make. So I drew this instead.
