Reminds me of the times I dealt with purple ropes with the black latex in “Initiation.” It is trickier than you may think. Sometimes the colour falls out of gamut, sometimes it doesn’t match with other photos. The trick is to use a reference image and stick with it. vincentaine.com/initiation/

I deactivated my Instagram and Facebook accounts. Nothing bad happened. It’s not personal. With what I’m going through now, I’d rather focus on myself than “perform” online.

Everyone outside Japan thinks living here is great. Truth is, like many foreigners who live here, I believe, I find this place safe and harmonious yet often stifling. If I could practice my art around the world at will and meet fellow artists in the process, I would.
