I have social anxiety.

Paired with a low self-esteem, it's a wonder I ever go out to events.

But I do, even though my head fills with bad thoughts, that no one wants me there, that people find I'm boring, fat, ugly or a nuisance.

I still go, hoping I'll connect with someone, who sees me.

I worry about losing our autonomy to something more sinister, which can be found in both new technology & old tomes, even nature.

As long as we don't lose ourselves, we'll be fine.

I'll stick to the old ways, rooted in folklore because there's always some truth in there.

Not receiving any item of clothing during Christmas which stems from our Yule Cat folklore. The gigantic cat would eat all the children who didn't get new clothes.

It doesn't exactly invoke fear in me now but I still keep up with the tradition by giving clothes

It's not horror per se, but my fantasy that I'm querying has a lot of horror elements in it.

I'm a visual soaker so films are most of the time my inspirations.

So you'll see a hint of Midsommar, Lord of the Rings, Evil Dead and Gintama.

I always carry around a notebook and an erasable pen when ideas pop up in my head.

I either use Reddit or Youtube if I get stuck on certain scenes or sentences.
