By the way—I’m NOT going to be releasing my ‘Sonic 4 inspired song’ near the movie’s marketing period. There was a lot more inspirations than just Sonic. I wrote an original song, and I want it to debut on my terms, not pre-determined “smart” terms!

Often times when songwriting, I notice my melody or rhythm is too similar to a song I like or might have stuck in my head, and it always distracts and disrupts my writing capabilities in one way or another. I think I need to figure out a new workflow… 😓
