Survivor benefits and disability benefits are also Social Security programs that matter to millions of Americans. Let's remember thise, too!
My father died when I was in college. As a minor and a college student, receiving his Social Security benefits was critical for me. Without them, I would have had to drop out and the rest of my life would have unfolded very differently. #SaveSocialSecurity
It is my sincere hope that all media including corporate and independent media REMEMBER: Social Security is NOT just for Seniors. There are ALMOST 25% of us that are people w/disabilities and people who have it via survivors benefits. Please don't forget about US when you talk about this program. 🙏💜
