Today I didn’t manage to put a hat on a baby (ala @blackamazon.bsky.social ) but I did manage to keep one entertained with funny faces for 5 minutes and let the mum read a few more pages of her book! Calling that a win - for both them and my work commute!

Constantly astounded by the people who think a bus post-1am is the perfect time to have an incredibly loud conversation (in person or on the phone). Read the room, some of us are just trying to get home and sleep after work 😭

Sometimes overpriced tourist/gimmicky food spots are actually good, and The Cheese Wheel pasta in Leicester Square is one of them 😍

First proper day at a new job yesterday and of course I slip (on the incredibly dangerous floors!!) and hit my head 😭 Fingers crossed today goes better???

How much of “great minds think alike” is just logical people forget to communicate with each other? Unrelatedly, my housemate and I just managed to arrive home with 5 cartons of oat milk between us 🙃

Decided tonight that I’m gonna quit my job and the relief I feel?? Also giving myself permission to stop applying for jobs I don’t actually want??? This obviously does not solve all my problems but is a step towards being fucking happy for once 😍

Why is it that every Sunday I manage to forget shops close early? You mean I have to get my life together and head out to get groceries before 4pm?! The scandal
