Not going to say I’m the guy anyone should ask for tactical suggestions at the pro level but I feel like #MNUFC may want to at least know where Dreyer is at all times. Portland looks like they prepped for this game by planning to ignore him?

Like, seriously, opting to completely ignore Andreas Dreyer. This is like watching an Ange Postecoglu team except if that team totally abandoned all principles of defending.

The U17 World Cup… Make The World Cup More Like High School Soccer Again
November 9, 2025 at 6:58 PM
And I nearly forgot... left Anthony Markanich UNMARKED ON THE BACK POST AT 2-2 when the kid FEASTED on that situation to the tune of NINE GOALS during the season.

I mean... come on. I could get my HS team to know enough to not give that up. #MNUFC
Everybody will talk about #MNUFC's resilience but Seattle...

- Was spotted a 2-goal lead inside 8 minutes
- Was spotted a man advantage with 1 goal lead for 50+ minutes
- Had 2 chances to close out penalties.

This may have been the biggest choke job in MLS playoff history.

That #MNUFC playoff game deserves the following summary thread… 1/

The only thing more on-brand for MLS than the MNU-SEA pkayoff game would be their website ignoring it to instead lead their banner how Lionel Messi passed gas in warmups. #MNUFC

There really was no other way for that game to end other than keeper-on-keeper violence. #MNUFC

The Minnesota United brand is strong. So brutally strong.

So strong, in fact, that it may be killing the rest of us, at an agonizing slow pace

I’m sorry but my 1st half hot take is:

- Duggan needs to handle the cross

- Rosales is a hot head and an idiot and we should sell him to a 4th tier team in Romania

- Rivas gifted Boxy that yellow cuz SEA was in on a 3v2

People need to chill. This is a hole of our own digging. #MNUFC

Whoever the VAR is in this US U17 game is an idiot. None of these should be asking the ref to go to the monitor. They're not even close.

I will keep saying this until we ship him off... Johnson needs to never see the field again for #COYS. "All he does is score." Whatever man. He murders every attack where he's not the end product and his marking is awful (BOTH goals). He will be a great player... for somebody else.

This is not the first time I have seen a player/manager/referee complain that "our player who did the dreadful thing shouldn't be punished because the people on the field didn't appear to be competent and that's not our fault."

It's some pretty weak sauce.

So many stories going on here...

- RFK ditches faster than you can say "That dude probably has autism from vaccinations"

- Dr. Oz looking like he's doing anything but CPR

- DJT standing there ignoring the whole thing

- The bitter irony of all of this happening at a health-related presser
holy shit -- one of Trump's toadies just passed out and the White House event is brought to an abrupt end

I find it remarkable that Suarez is suspended for this when it is almost a carbon copy of Bukari’s kick on Markanich in the USOC semi. I realize it’s 2 different competitions and governing bodies, but the lack of consistency is ludicrous.
Luis Suarez will be suspended for the final game of the MLS Cup Playoff Round One series against Nashville SC on Saturday, sources confirmed to ESPN's @lizzy_becherano.

Look, that was good by RKM, but, I'm just spitballing here, I feel like a world-class striker should be able to pull that moonshot out of the sky and volley it first time nto an empty net from 5 yards away. #COYS

Seriously, Simons is like 1 more feed away from telling RKM, "Shove it up your ass, I'll do it myself." #COYS

#COYS Van de Ven is going to take all the blame for the Chelsea goal and everybody is blabbing about how great Caicedo is (and he is good, don't get me wrong), but... look at the damn space behind Simons after VdV played him this ball out of the back. 1/5
November 1, 2025 at 7:48 PM
I think it's troubling that #COYS shows such poor ability to progress the ball through the midfield, and a lot of that is personnel when we play Lolo and Palhinha together. But at some point it comes down to training work. This team regularly fails to recognize openings and take advantage of them.
November 1, 2025 at 7:37 PM
RKM has been really good today but the midfield again has provided no service. The color commentator keeps bemoaning Frank has to get the front line producing, but the midfield is not progressing the ball… again. #COYS
