This Trans Day of Remembrance, I remember Eden Knight. She passed away shortly after I came out in 2023, after being forcibly sent back to Saudi Arabia and detransitioned by her family. The funeral deadnamed and misgendered her. She was given no dignity, only hate.

I remember going to bed every night and praying to God that I would wake up as a girl. Since at least 7 years old. That was back in 1992. The idea that someone planted this in my head as an ideology... It's grotesque. I knew I was a girl since I was old enough to be cognizant. That never changed.
