This article truly captures how indiscriminate bombing and violence tears people apart, mentally, emotionally and physically. And this happened to people I know at my home.
So I will forever empathise with those seeking safety. No one should have to live through this.

After blowing up my calf in Washington, then Glastonbury, then trying to rehab it unsuccessfully for months and then finally giving up and resigning to a diet if coffee and cigarettes, I've just bashed out a cold 5k.
Kind of glad I've still got it in there somewhere
