Guardian lies! Much of the British journo hacks spread falsehoods, driven by the 24-hour news cycle and social media. Paid hacks push articles, tweets, and counter-tweets to pull audiences to their pages, amplifying every rumour and drowning out serious politics.

If my memory serves me well they slated Corbyn too. The only paper that was supportive of Corbyn was the Daily Mirror.
