So in your mind the other 145Million people in Russia have no agency? I realize the standard "Regime Change" tactic is to laser focus on one guy (the target), demonize that person and make it about him/her and not the Empire doing it's thing (Global Full Spectrum Domination).

The war was not existential to Russia, since NATO is a *defensive* alliance. As long as Russia doesn't try to expand, NATO is no threat to it.
