En 2022, 40 % des Québécois disaient avoir eu besoin de consulter un médecin au cours des 12 derniers mois et souhaitaient le faire, mais finalement ne l’avaient pas fait. Maintenant, c’est plus de 50 %. Le problème d’accessibilité est donc encore plus important qu’il y a 3 ans.

✅ PTZ 3.375g IV Q6H is effective for MIC ≤8 mg/L

✅ Neither standard nor high-dose achieves 90% PTA for MIC ≥16 mg/L w/ short infusions

Last year, the Canadian Medical Association Journal published an article on a scurvy case in Toronto.

Scurvy is almost never in advanced countries like Canada.

This year we learned of 27 more cases in the Lac La Ronge Indian Band in Saskatchewan.

On doit améliorer l’accès à notre système public de santé, dont l’accès à un médecin. C’est pourquoi on a déposé un projet de loi pour obliger les nouveaux médecins omnipraticiens et spécialistes à travailler dans le réseau public, au Québec, pendant les cinq premières années après leurs études.
