Dear humanity,
My son is in a critical state after being attacked by Israeli drones.
His small body is struggling to survive, and I cannot help him alone.
I plead with you – your compassion can keep him alive.

Everyone is racialized. The real questions are: How are they racialized? Does racialization bring privilege or oppression?

Expel Israel from International Football!
Israel killed Palestinian footballer Suleiman Al-Obeid in Gaza.

He’s the third Palestinian footballer killed during this genocide.

Israel is still part of FIFA.

Imagine if his name were Francesco Totti, Maradona, or Pelé — killed while searching for food. But he was a Palestinian football player. Let me think... hmm, Fascists and Nazis did things like this. Long live Palestine. Solidarity with anti-Zionist Jewish people too

Solidarity with Dr. Mohamed Abu Mughaisib, who is sharing on LinkedIn the devastating reality of the situation in Gaza.
It is heartbreaking to watch and feel powerless. What can we do to help? History will not forget the West nor those in positions of power who have stood by and done nothing.

1/4 I took part in the very first Working-Class Academics Conference in 2020 — a cozy, inspiring space shaped by both PhD and non-PhD holders organized by Peter Shukie @shukieone.bsky.social . It felt like a grassroots community, full of care and vision. The 2nd edition in 2021 brought new energy

Do not send me papers where authors write about their own privilege and luxury cars or bags. I cannot really read them anymore. Autoethnography for the rich or middle class just for the sake of publishing. It’s exhausting. Respect working-class peer reviewers, please.

Do not be afraid to write racism. There is no need to say 'perceived discrimination' or 'perceived racism.' Stop allowing peer reviewers to silence the voices of people who experience racism.

Standing united against imperialism is essential. War and bombing should never be the answer.

The assault on Black radical thought and the genocide in Gaza are interconnected struggles. You cannot stand with one and remain silent about the other.

Rose Villain waved the Palestinian flag at #RomaPride, and some questioned it. While the event was divided, the majority stood in support of Palestine. I'm still trying to understand how some people can attempt to colonize Rome Pride.

On June 8th and 9th, Italians are called to vote in a referendum on workers’ rights and citizenship.
I find it troubling that there is little institutional support for voter turnout. These are not just political issues. They’re human rights.

1/2 Why do literature reviews matter? cause they’re the foundation of any paper. If authors now just skim through others’ work to give the impression they've engaged while rushing to publish 100 of papers with superficial analysis, how can so-called top journals still be considered top?
June 2, 2025 at 9:38 PM
In Italy, not many people vote these days. But today, it's worth remembering something important: it wasn’t just the birth of the Italian Republic in 1946. The 2nd of June was also the 1st time women were allowed to vote. Back then, ppl were deciding between a monarchy & a republic.
