Meetings, proposals, site visits, drawings, renderings, preliminary studio work and test samples are all part of the creative process. I enjoy every step but when I get to paint- it feels magnificent! #art

Circa 2000. Oil on canvas. 54” x 54”. At first glance this appears to be an abstract painting but I spent weeks traveling around New Mexico photodocumenting sidewalk squares which provided the reference for this painting.

Hard to believe this body of work was 25 years ago.
