I keep kicking myself for NOT pulling out my phone to photograph the AWESOME vintage 70s VW hippie van I saw this week here in Portland. It wasn't just painted, but created as a glass & ceramic clay mosaic. I love classic cars & they are common here, but this was a true creative blast from the past.

In the 70s I was startled & confused by weird changes in nature & I journaled about them. Directly experiencing patterns & variations in nature illuminated complexities beyond mere words. Walking on & inside glaciers, constructively crystallized them in my mind.
