Recently learnt that the fleurs-de-lys of the royal French arms were sometimes misinterpreted as toads so I wanted to try visualise how they'd look like #heraldry

An illustration I drew for my presentation I gave in Ropecon 2025. This is an example how real coat of arms could be used in Warhammer world.
A drawing which has 8 characters from the world of Warhammer. From the left there are a lizardman holding a standard, then a high elf holding a sword high. Then a demon of Nurgle holding a sword and a banner, after that a dark elf. After those a champion of Slaanesh and after that a wood elf holding a spear standing next to a ratman holding a banner and a shield. Lastly there's a champion of Tzeentch holding a staff and a shield.

My edition of "Michael Kohlhaas" by German writer Heinrich von Kleist (1810) – designed, layed out and illustrated as part of my Bachelors Project in Graphic Design. Featuring a pen and ink scene for each of the 13 chapters as well as custom themed initials and ornaments.

A comital coronet but the gems and pearls are replaced with something completely different...
A drawing of a heraldic crown (comital coronet to be precise), but instead of gems there are eyes and mouths and the pearls on top of the crown are replaced by hair rollers.

With Pride month coming up soon I thought I'd share this tutorial I made for drawing flags! #art #artref #arttutorial
Drawn diagram explaining flag parts, namely the hoist which is hoisted on the pole, and the fly which is flying in the air. The upper hoist side corner is called the canton. The diagram shows the two sides of the flag, the obverse and the reverse, and how the flag's elements are reversed when it's viewed from the reverse side. Below the diaram are three figures walking towards the right, the first is holding the flag of Palestine, the second the Intersex Inclusive Progress Pride Flag, the third the flag of Ohio, showcasing how the flag designs look on their reverse sides. At the bottom is a diagram showcasing the flags of Paraguay and the flag of Oregon, which have different designs for their obverse and reverse sides: Paraguay has a star on its obverse side, and a lion on its reverse side. Oregon features its state seal on the obverse side, and a beaver on its reverse side.
