Hope is on the horizon for Parkinson’s patients. A UW–Madison-supported clinical trial is showing early promise using a groundbreaking cell therapy. Patients are receiving brain cells grown from their own cells, potentially reducing symptoms and eliminating the need for immunosuppressants.
