This admin’s tariff policy hurts farmers and ranchers across the U.S, and its relief package falls short for many of our producers. I introduced the Specialty Crop & Wine Producer Tariff Relief Act so that our producers in CA-19 can receive the support they need to stay afloat.

This Administration’s military action in Venezuela has left us with uncertainty, instability, and insecurity. That’s why I spoke in support of a War Powers Resolution to prevent further military action in Venezuela.

Good hearing in the House Budget Committee where we talked about the need for short-term and long-term fixes to our healthcare. Unfortunately, many will lose healthcare due to cuts to Medicaid and failure to reauthorize the tax credits for the ACA in the purely partisan One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

When it comes to our coastal economy, beauty, and way of life, we must continue to protect it. I was proud host a virtual town hall to discuss this Admin’s plans for offshore drilling along our coast and what we can do to fight back and protect our home from offshore oil drilling.

I joined my colleagues in lighting a candle in honor of the souls we lost in the holocaust. We must continue to be vigilant, and stand together against the rising tide of antisemitism to ensure: never again.

Appreciate those who joined last night’s virtual town hall to discuss this Administration's leasing plans for offshore oil drilling along our coast. I appreciated hearing your questions and concerns, and together, we will continue to push back against this Administration leasing plans for our coast.

Proud to stand with military families to talk about our bipartisan, bicameral MOLD Act. I helped author this bill to help ensure that military housing is at certain standards and that private landlords are responsive to needed repairs. Military readiness literally & figuratively starts at home.
