I’m big on airbending as a mechanic because I loved this card as removal too. Yes it’s the inverse of airbending, but it showed me why the concept is good.

I know real standard lists are coming, but I made a silly golgari ramp list. (4x cub of course) Finisher is March of the world ooze. Don’t think the decks I’m facing are equipped to beat that card.

Lots of this final battle stuff in MHA is contrived and feels like they are just making stuff up that they never talked about before, but having an “on your left” moment still felt earned.

I got the Spider-Man Costco bundle because I was at Costco and really in a hemorrhaging value mood. It comes with a miles morales (the rare expensive one) promo, six boosters, and a bunch of web lands. For under 40 bucks, so no, not a good value.

Should add that all the viral crime/fight video talk coming from Cincy is because of this race, but I don’t think much money was pumped into this hopeless campaign.
Election night bonus: JD Vance's half-brother is running for mayor of Cincinnati and will be crushed by the incumbent Democrat.
He already got stomped 83 to 13 in the primary, but since it's a top two nonpartisan race and he did place second, he gets to be stomped again in the general election.

Saw an ad for a crowdfunding campaign for a card game with obvious AI art and the one comment on it asked who the artist was and they said “two artists from overseas we will credit them when your campaign goes live” meaning “we haven’t figured out how to lie about it being AI yet”

Season 2 of Hazbin is great so far but I still feel like it’s trying to be two shows at once, I find the tonal shifts jarring between the incredibly crass juvenile shit and…everything else the show is doing.

No one can ever convince me that new Simpsons episodes are worth watching. I keep seeing the Simpsons Fortnite ads and Bart spraypaints Fortnite to say Fartnite, but like, the Bart I know would change it to Bartnite, because uhh the Simpsons isn’t about fart jokes.

It’s been well over a year and a half since Karlov Manor came out and I’m still waiting on reprints of the surveil lands. We got shocklands in standard, fine, but some of the surveil lands are pricier than fetch lands right now. 🫠

Yeah the secret lair countdown is 200 bucks but I’ll actually use it, unlike this box box deluxe board game I bought for 200 dollars that I’ll probably never get to the table 🫠

Korra is a great show but the way it did most of the ATLA’s characters dirty is rough. Would the show have been better if it wasn’t constantly reminding you of the other show? I can’t imagine the new Avatar show is going to lean as heavily on Korra characters as Korra did.

Nothing is as much of a measure of the fall off of quality of the Simpsons as the treehouse of horror episodes.
