Jaime Watt: The U.S. Democrats aren’t the strongest opposition to Trump right now. Canada is
Canada must convince every last American that Trump’s tariffs will make their life worse, in contrast to the weak and incoherent opposition from the Democratics.

Happy International Women’s Day from our women-led @Sask_NDP Caucus.

These women are some of the strongest people I know, and I am so incredibly proud to do this work by their side.

I will always be an ally to women and gender-diverse people in their fight for equality.

We will never be the 51st state. 🇨🇦

We know the tariffs threatened by Trump will be devastating and kill jobs. Still, the Sask. Party can’t be bothered to show up for work.

We see no plan to fight these tariffs, diversify Saskatchewan’s economy and deliver jobs and good wages.

Today, we learned that Scott Moe and the Sask. Party have rejected calls for an emergency sitting of the Saskatchewan Legislature to develop both a proper response to the Trump tariffs threat and a plan to secure our economic future.

The Sask party uses underhanded tactics to win, then avoids showing up to work.
The time has come for Premier Moe and the Sask Party to recall the legislature so that Saskatchewan can form a plan to defend ourselves from economic devastation brought about by the United States.

I’m going to be serious for a moment and remind folks that affirming Indigenous sovereignty should be our priority. Canadians have failed over and over in reconciliation and I’d honestly rather conceptualize all of this as ensuring we honour our treaty obligations.

Happy Louis Riel Day. Today commemorates the life of Louis Riel, the brave Métis leader, and Manitoba's first Premier who lead the Métis Resistance against the Canadian government. We acknowledge the ongoing Indigenous fight for sovereignty.

We would hope this goes without saying, but diversity doesn't cause plane crashes, or harm anyone.
The Sask NDP has a proudly diverse caucus, because it represents Saskatchewan's diversity.
The NDP have a wide array of different viewpoints forming an opposition to speak for everyone.
