Step forward: the EU’s statement of intent to cut emissions by 66-72.5% by 2035 is a welcome sign. But it’s time to lock in that 72.5%, and pair it with a 2040 target of at least 90% before COP30.

Exciting! We got it black on white that on European level, competitiveness and achieving a 90% climate goal by 2040 "go hand in hand". Strong signal for #cleantech manufacturing in EU.

This allows the EU to adopt its 2040 & 2035 targets for NDC in June.
