There is so much wrong with this. All so painfully wrong. So why is it the thing that still feels like a thumb to the eyeball is that in his list of (unimaginative) insulting nicknames he just uses Barack's full name? Maybe it's just the insidious dog whistling....

My personal version of that: boiled spinach. Like how the hell does anyone stomach that shit? SO SLIMY
That said; I enjoy fresh raw spinach and okra. I also enjoy fried okra and lightly sauteed spinach. Quality ingredients and preferred preparation makes all the difference.

The first time I had boiled okra as a kid, I ran to the trashcan in the kitchen to throw up. I looked up at two generations of women in my family staring at me in disgust but it was NASTY. The okra threw up in my mouth first. The slime????????

I was listing off depts that had come under fire since we fell asleep to my husband.
Him: when are they going to start on the military?
Me: they need that for taking over Canada, Greenland...
Him: but they didn't need it to take over us!
