When developing Up To No Goob, we decided to have no button controls, to be more accessible, and to lower the scope. With this restriction, we had to think outside the box with a lot of the design in the game.

We underestimated the work it would take to finish the game in a polished state. New game breaking bugs kept popping up, so we have decided to delay the game until early 2025 to make sure the game is in a good state before we release it. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but this is for the best.

Goob Powered up as a Grab! Any power up lets Goob survive a hit, but makes Goob lose the power up. The Grab increases Goobs horizontal movement speed. The Groll gives Goob the power of a Trolls stomach and a bowl of porridge! Goob automatically eats Porridge when standing still. After eating enough porridge, Goob becomes big! If Goob is big, he can take an additional hit point. But is reverted back to being a small Troll and needs to wait a few seconds before getting a new bowl of porridge. The archer. An enemy in Up To No Goob. The archer is green, and fires an arrow that is red. The Catapult. An enemy from Up To No Goob. When the catapult is about to attack, a target displaying where the Egg projectile will land appears. If goob is at that target when the Egg projectile lands, Goob is defeated.
