Yeah, not shocked
DHS expanded its SAVE system to flag noncitizen voters but in Texas and Missouri, many flagged voters were misidentified, causing confusion, removals and investigations, despite scant evidence of widespread noncitizen voting.

SAVE tool keeps mistakenly flagging voters as noncitizens - The Texas Tribune
DHS rolled out the revamped tool while it was still adding data. That led to widespread misidentification, particularly for citizens born outside the U.S.

I don't care. They all need to be held accountable.

You can't... repeal... a scientific finding. At that point it's just called lying about it.

Going to a meeting about a spaceport this evening and I'm trying to decide how much I don't want to support this. Realistically, is building something like a spaceport even an issue because of Kessler effect? How often do they think they're really going to be using these?

🧵 AI-assisted book promotion scams are completely out of control. Every week I get fawning emails from supposed book clubs offering to "showcase" my book to a "passionate community of readers" or some such. The catch? They want me to *pay* them. Oh, and the club (example below) is a charade.

Just heard about another data center that is "land shopping" in our area and just want to cry. We won't be able to escape them, the state doesn't care - very hard to remain hopeful and focused on trying to stop them or at least regulate them.

The Pentagon has long been developing anti-drone weapons meant for use in war zones where they can control air traffic. But the DoD hasn’t yet figured out how to safely deploy them within crowded civilian skies. That didn’t stop them loaning some out to CBP to shoot off over Texas.

People are afraid to leave home — even for groceries.

No one should live in fear just to eat.

Chip in below — it's a crisis!

#IceOut
Minneapolis residents are facing a growing food crisis. Fear from ICE is keeping families—especially elders, parents, and the homebound from groceries.
