the more you believe sex is inherent + immutable (whether biologically i.e. "male"/"female" or temporally i.e. "amab"/"afab") rather than a relation someone is weighed against (you are judged by how you adhere or subvert Sex, i.e. things are Sexed) the more incorrect the theory & politics get

imo i don't think the women writing to jacob tierney want women to disappear from all media forever. i think they're pointing out heterosexuality is a regime and relating to 2 guys in love also dealing with homophobia but having a happy ending & also other women and gay ppl watching feels relatable
